The Mazda RX-8’s rotary engine has always had a unique sound that is distinct and very well recognized. Unfortunately some emission control units, such as the catalytic convert, dampen the sound of the Mazda RX-8’s rotary engine and decrease horsepower. To resolve those issues, Agency Power created a Cat Delete Pipe for the Mazda RX-8 2003-2008 that is meant to replace the stock Mazda RX-8 catalytic converter. The Agency Power Cat Delete Pipe for the Mazda RX-8 not only increases engine horsepower and maintains torque curve but also amplifies the natural sound of the rotary engine.

The Agency Power Cat Delete Pipe features a construct of T304 stainless steel, 3 inches in diameter, precision TIG welds and two straight-through resonators. The two straight-through resonators in the Agency Power Cat Delete Pipe allow for a free-flow of exhaust gasses while maintaining the correct amount of back pressure required by the Mazda RX-8’s naturally aspirated rotary engine to produce more torque.

The Agency Power Cat Delete Pipe is a direct replacement of the stock catalytic converter. The Cat Delete Pipe will fit in that stock location and can be used with the Mazda RX-8’s factory exhaust system.
