TANABE Medalion Concept G - Nissan SE-R & Spec V 2002-2006

An evolution of the TANABE original Super MEDALION RACING, which was developed for motorsports.  Using new advances in exhaust system technology, the motorsport specification CONCEPT G provides high power, while maintaining a lower db sound profile. 

The new ADVANTIX exhaust packing material used in CONCEPT G has eliminated the need for a removable inner silencer to control sound output, without affecting exhaust gas flow.  The trademark low, clean and deep exhaust note known in all TANABE exhaust systems is retained.  CONCEPT G is the evolution of exhaust technology. 

Pure SUS 304 Stainless Steel Construction
With added durability in mind, SUS304 piping is kept in its raw (pure) form; as it was found that polishing the SUS304 stainless steel reduces its efficiency in dissipating heat from the exhaust system.

Straight Form Design
Minimizing bends in each vehicle application is a goal of our engineering department.  The truest form is achieved in each catback exhaust design to provide the best flow and usable power gains.

Extreme Efficiency
Each application of the CONCEPT G is finely tuned for maximum efficiency, to extract the full power potential on all naturally aspirated and forced induction vehicles.  (Under 93 db)

Concept: Form & Function
Advantix is the latest in exhaust packing material technology.  Highly resistant to heat deterioration, this material greatly reduces db output without affecting flow.  This results in higher power, less weight, smaller canister size, and importantly, eliminating the need for a removable silencer.

A piping wall thickness of only 1.2mm allows higher amounts of weight reduction.  Full SUS304 Stainless Steel piping maintains durability and resistance to corrosion, with the added benefit of reducing resonation of the exhaust note.

SUS304 Stainless Steel press flanges are used for durability as well as reduced weight.  All piping is mandrel bent for superior flow characteristics and improved performance.

Hollow stainless street exhaust hangers are used to complete the list of reduction in weight performed on the exhaust system.
